Our farm was founded in 2014 by Naomi Thompson, her husband Gideon & her 2 kids Morgan & Drake. We started in our apartment with 3 female rex rabbits & a silver fox buck to produce clean, high quality, inexpensive meat for our family. We soon had folks asking us to sell them meat rabbits for themselves and the business began. At that time it was just a hobby, selling rabbits to pay for costs. But we soon found an acreage of 4+ acres. From there we began creating the Gnomish Giant meat rabbit. A dream to create beautiful hides, fast meat growth and a better body type to allow a better distribution of meat on each rabbit. What we also developed, by selective breeding, is a unique marbling of white and dark meat. Other rabbit breeds are a white only meat. This offers a fantastic variety like eating chicken or Turkey. Great for the entire family! Join us on our way to the finish line with an entirely new and amazing meat rabbit. The temperament is calm and easy going making them great as pets as well.

We are now upgraded to a full 5 acres where we also have chickens, ducks, formerly goats all raised as naturally as possible.
Our son Drake got his cottage foods permit in 2021 when he was only 14 His love for baking took him to college at Mankato South Central college at age 15 for culinary arts AAS. He continues to run his own cottage food practice under U~bakery, the desire to bring UBE & gluten free/keto baked goods to the local community. rabbit farming farm fresh meat.
